Methodology notes
- This calculator deliberately uses the standard CDC adult BMI categories: underweight below 18.5, healthy weight 18.5 to below 25, overweight 25 to below 30, and obesity from 30.
- The categories are adult screening bands, not a diagnosis or a Malaysia/Asian-specific clinical action threshold.

| Employer Payroll Cost Calculator Malaysia employer-payroll |
Malaysia Employer Payroll Cost · statutory contributions 2026 |
2026-06-01 |
2026-08-31 |
Methodology notes
- The calculator estimates recurring monthly and annual employer cost for one or more employees sharing the selected wage and profile. It excludes non-statutory employment costs and one-off payroll items.
- EPF employer contributions use the current KWSP statutory schedule for Malaysian or permanent-resident employees and the applicable non-Malaysian employee rate.
- PERKESO wage classes and the RM6,000 insured-wage ceiling apply. SOCSO Auto assumes an existing contributor; first entrants aged 55+ with no prior contributions must select second category. The EIS first-entry exemption at 57+ requires separate confirmation. Local LINDUNG 24 JAM is included unless a confirmed opt-out is selected; foreign participation remains mandatory.
- The estimate preserves the rounding behavior of the underlying EPF and PERKESO schedules, then scales the selected per-employee amounts by headcount.

Methodology notes
- All preset policy-like values are adjustable scenario defaults. They are not live bank quotes, universal underwriting rules, or approval criteria.
- CIMB and UOB tools support the affordability-calculator structure; consumer references provide contextual DSR examples. Actual income recognition, DSR, rate, margin, tenure, age cap, and credit decision remain lender-specific.

| i-Saraan & EPF Incentive Calculator 2026 epf-incentive |
EPF voluntary incentives 2026 · 9 September 2026 |
2026-01-01 |
2026-09-09 |
Methodology notes
- 2026 annual model: i-Saraan matches 20% up to RM500; Plus 20% up to RM600; i-Suri 50% up to RM300. Contribution targets are RM2,500, RM3,000 and RM600 respectively. One scheme is calculated at a time; incentives are not stacked.
- Lifetime caps are RM5,000 (i-Saraan), RM6,000 (Plus) and RM3,000 (i-Suri), or age 60, whichever comes first. i-Saraan and i-Suri counting begins with 2024 contributions. New Plus participation starts in 2026; prior i-Saraan incentives since 2024 count towards the upgraded Plus cap. These caps cannot bind a normal 2026 annual estimate given the 2024–2025 annual limits, so no prior-incentive input is requested.
- Eligibility is self-confirmed separately for each scheme, not inferred from occupation alone. Plus requires the qualifying platform route and excludes members receiving mandatory employer contributions; i-Suri uses eKasih status as at 30 November 2025 for 2026. Mid-year scheme changes are outside scope.
- Estimated incentive = min(eligible contributions × matching rate, annual cap), rounded to sen. Top-up = max(annual cap ÷ rate − contributions, 0). Optional budget splits round up to sen. Processing cut-offs, channel minimums and actual KWSP disbursement rounding are not modeled.

| Jodoh Calculator jodoh |
jodoh-2026-v5 |
2026-01-01 |
2026-10-22 |
Methodology notes
- Composite dates: population counts and ethnicity shares 2026-01-01; latest marriage observations 2024-01-01, with earlier complete observations from 2022-01-01, 2023-01-01. Each marriage observation uses population from the same year. Income data 2025-12-31 (released 2026-09-21); religion reference published 2022-10-18; obesity reference 2024-01-01.
- The 2026-01-01 effective date is the latest base-population date, not a claim that every input is current to that date.
- Height thresholds are an unsourced illustrative heuristic for scenario exploration, not an official statistic.

HASiL e-Invoice Guideline 4.8 · Specific Guideline 4.9 |
2026-09-01 |
2026-09-05 |
Methodology notes
- Businesses operating in YA2022 use the published YA2022 turnover bands; later turnover changes do not move an already determined legacy phase.
- Below RM3 million is treated as exempt only when none of the published non-individual shareholder, subsidiary, related-company, or joint-venture exceptions applies.
- For qualifying MSMEs reaching RM3 million from YA2026 onward, the model uses 1 January in the second year following the threshold YA. This follows HASiL’s General e-Invoice FAQ, Q14(b), page 9, including its example of a business starting in 2026 and implementing e-Invoice on 1 January 2028.

| Malaysia EV Road Tax Calculator ev-road-tax |
JPJ private ZEV · 2026 v1 |
2026-01-01 |
2026-09-28 |
Methodology notes
- Annual private battery EV LKM for AB/AC/AD/AE in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Excludes islands, e-hailing, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, hybrids and special exemptions.
- Convert kW to whole watts exactly, then select the inclusive JPJ power band and its fixed annual fee. No interpolation, per-kW multiplication or motorcycle discount.
- Rates commenced 1 January 2026. The referenced JPJ circular is dated 1 April 2026; the snapshot/source check is 28 September 2026. These are separate dates.
- Supports 1–1,010,000 W. The final PDF row says above 1,010,001 W after a band ending at 1,010,000 W, leaving exactly 1,010,001 W ambiguous; higher values are withheld pending clarification.

| Malaysia Fuel Price & BUDI Calculator budi-fuel |
budi-fuel-2026-v10 |
2026-09-01 |
2026-10-22 |
Methodology notes
- Current and historical prices are requested from the official data.gov.my Ministry of Finance weekly fuel-price dataset; the dated local snapshot is used only when that feed is unavailable.
- The standard BUDI95 quota remains 200 litres and the approved pickup/jeep BUDI Diesel tier remains 300 litres through 31 August 2026; they switch automatically to 300 and 400 litres respectively at midnight Malaysia time on 1 September 2026.
- Quota use is modeled within one calendar month and does not carry unused litres into another month.
- The BUDI Diesel base quota may be used flexibly for eligible diesel or RON95 purchases, so purchases of both fuels share the same monthly balance.
- An eligible owner may nominate up to three approved actual users, bounded by registered vehicle count. Each recipient uses their own vehicle-based shared quota; this calculator estimates one approved allocation.

opr-loan-impact-2026-v2 |
2026-09-03 |
2026-09-05 |
Methodology notes
- The latest rate and history are sourced from Bank Negara Malaysia’s official OPR decisions page when available.
- The estimate assumes the effective loan rate changes by exactly the selected number of basis points.
- Monthly payments use a standard reducing-balance amortisation formula over the remaining tenure.
- Actual bank repricing dates, reference rates, spreads, rounding, and instalments can differ from this estimate.

| Malaysia STSDS Stamp Duty Calculator stsds |
Malaysia Stamp Duty · Lease rates 2025 / STSDS Phase 1 2026 |
2026-01-01 |
2026-10-03 |
Methodology notes
- STSDS Phase 1 began on 1 January 2026 for tenancy/lease, security, and general-stamping instruments; property-transfer Phase 2 begins on 1 January 2027.
- For instruments executed from 1 January 2025, lease duty uses the full annualised rent and other consideration: RM1 per RM250 for up to 1 year, RM3 for over 1 to 3 years, RM5 for over 3 to 5 years, and RM7 for over 5 years. Each part-unit rounds up and a RM10 minimum applies. No RM2,400 deduction applies.
- Principal security duty uses RM5 per RM1,000 or part thereof, subject to a RM10 minimum in this common-case estimate.
- The standard late-stamping penalty before relief is the higher of RM50 or 10% within three months, and RM100 or 20% after three months. PKPS 2026 waives penalties automatically for eligible instruments executed in 2023–2025 and stamped and paid in 2026, excluding fraud. The calculator does not assess PKPS eligibility; pre-2025 lease rates are outside scope. See HASiL’s 26 June 2026 extension notice.

Employment Act 1955 · monthly pay v1 |
2023-01-01 |
2026-09-22 |
Methodology notes
- Fixed-basic-pay monthly workers up to RM4,000 in Peninsular Malaysia/Labuan only. Excludes shifts, part-time, domestic/vessel work and variable-pay or special arrangements. Higher-paid occupational exceptions are not assessed.
- Sections 60, 60A and 60I: monthly ÷ 26 ÷ agreed normal daily hours gives the hourly rate. Normal-day excess is 1.5×; monthly-worker rest-day work is half/full ordinary daily pay, plus 2× hourly pay for excess hours.
- Section 60D: any work within normal paid-holiday hours adds two ordinary days’ pay; excess hours add 3× hourly pay. Ordinary holiday pay already in the monthly salary is displayed separately, including when no work is done.
- The 2023 effective date refers to the amended Act, not a new 2026 multiplier. Normal-day work after a 10-hour start-to-finish span is withheld from this total-hours model. Statutory working-time limits, holiday entitlement and payroll deductions are not determined here.
