PCB Tax Estimate (YA 2026)
Estimate average monthly PCB and annual tax using LHDN YA 2026 resident tax rules and contribution relief limits.
How the YA 2026 PCB tax estimate works
Include eligible contribution reliefs separately
Enter monthly gross salary, annual bonus, eligible annual EPF and SOCSO/EIS contributions, other annual reliefs, family details and zakat. The model caps contribution reliefs using its YA 2026 snapshot, deducts total modeled reliefs from annual income, then applies resident tax bands and rebates. Including the bonus in monthly averaging gives estimated annual tax ÷ 12.
Worked example: contributions and a yearly bonus
For a single resident with RM5,000 monthly salary, RM6,000 bonus, RM4,000 eligible EPF contributions and RM350 eligible SOCSO/EIS contributions, with no disability or family reliefs, other reliefs or zakat, the 29 July 2026 snapshot gives RM52,650 chargeable income and RM1,791.50 annual tax. Including the bonus in monthly averaging gives RM149.29 per month.
Avoid counting a relief twice
Do not repeat the separately entered contribution or family reliefs in other annual reliefs. Use actual eligible amounts supported by records rather than assuming the example amounts apply. This model covers resident-individual annual tax planning; it does not reproduce an employer’s exact monthly PCB filing or determine whether a relief claim is eligible.
